Yes, well since she’s had about 23 different owners since 1965, there was some minor issues. Speedholes, yep she’s really fast. At some point one owner decided to fix a weight reduction area with, well, duct tape body filler and paint… looked great by the way, until I decided to test the body with a hammer… a small one but nevertheless a hammer… the hole was quite big… it wouldn’t fit a moose but a dog or maybe a small sheep. So the time came and it was no longer a paint and rims kind of a car, but a weld, prime, body filler, sanding, paint, wheels kind of a car… oh joy… #thearpy #mustang #ford #crossfit #minresaräknaseller #rust #weld #esab #icantweldforshit #letsrtryit #ifihaventdoneitthenimproaboblythebest
As time goes by
It had som issues…. but we will get back to them in good time. I fell in love, the car started. sounded amazing… well good enough for me. So we drove it home. In November 2018, Sweden… it was well 1-2 degrees Celsius outside. And yes u guessed it, no heating, actually no fan at all…. it was in the trunk, due to a leak. But hell, why not drive the thing home 300 kilometers? So we did… It did just fine! Who needs brakes anyway when you are driving a manual!? #mustang #1965 #ford #justsold #goinghome #crossfit #minresaräknasockså #mustang1965

A car… I really needed… yeah.
Well 2018 was a crazy year, in several aspects… we had a crazy hot summer and well an incredible workload so I had the fortunate position of getting to spend my summer inside in a climate controlled secure environment. This did give me some, rather unexpected, opportuinities one of them happened to be a Mustang from 1965, sold new in Sweden with a whopping 225 bhp engine, which at the time was crazy the badest Volvo 123 GT had a 1,8 litre engine producing about 65 bhp, and it was a badass. So I can just imagine how the talk was going around town in July on 1965 in Örebro when som crazy MF bought a Mustang with a four barrel 289 cui, 225 bhp, 4 speed Ford Mustang and put a trailer hitch on it… yep its true… suck on that one for a while…
